Last year we introduced the Perks Champions Club as a way to thank our clients who referred someone to us, and also honor new clients that joined our client family last year. We held the event at Mercer University in the elegant Presidential Dining Hall and we had a blast!
We had a photographer take pictures of all of our special guests as they walked the red carpet to our photo wall. A classical guitarist played background music as we enjoyed a very nice dinner.
The evening featured videos from some of our existing clients as well as special recognition to the very first clients of our firm. It was a very special evening and it was capped off by an inspiring message from a client who had recently lost his dad. He challenged us all to live life to the fullest and shared how his dad impacted people by the relationships he formed. His retirement was not defined by sitting at home and doing nothing, it was filled with deep relationships and staying active!
This year’s event will be a lot fun and we can’t wait to see you there! We also have a few surprises planned that you won’t want to miss.
This 2025 Perks Champions Club Dinner will be held on Thursday, October 23rd at 6:00pm, at the Anderson Conference center in Macon, GA.
Parking was a challenge for some last year, so we wanted to make sure we use a facility that has plenty of parking and a shorter walk to our event. We believe the Anderson Conference center will work great for our group!
So how do you get an invitation to this year’s event?
As I mentioned earlier, this event is designed to celebrate the new clients who have joined our firm in the last year and to say thank you to our existing clients who send people to us. More families are learning about how we help people and we now serve almost 325 client families!
We are working hard to fulfil our mission:
“We empower you to make great financial choices so your Next Phase is your best phase.”
So if you are a new client of our firm, your ticket to this year’s event is secured! You’ll receive your official invitation closer to the event, so please mark your calendar and plan to attend.
For those of you who are existing clients, all you have to do is not keep us a secret. We would be honored if you would tell others how we help you and your family with your financial decisions. When they come to see us, you’re in. They don’t have to become a client and they don’t have to engage our firm in any way. All they have to do is have a meeting with us and you’ll qualify for this year’s Perks Champions Club.
Last year was our biggest year ever for referrals as our clients referred over 40 people to our firm! No, not all of these folks became clients. We aren’t a great fit for everyone and we are open about that to everyone we meet. However, I am confident that we added some type of value to every person we met with last year.
We understand that talking about money and money matters is private and not an easy thing to talk about. Nobody needs to know about your finances and they probably don’t need to know about yours either. This can make it a challenge to bring up.
We want to make it easy. This is why I created a video a few years ago called “Meet My Firm.” This video was made for you to share with others as a way for them to meet the firm that helps you with your finances. It’s about 6 minutes long and answers many questions about what we do and who we do it for. It also outlines what we don’t do.
Your friend could watch this video and they will know that we are not stock brokers and we don’t try to time the market. But it will tell them how we help our clients with the challenges they face as they get older. It will give them enough information to determine whether or not we might be able to help them.
Here is the Meet My Firm Video.
As always, I want to thank you for the trust you’ve placed in our firm and I hope to see you in October at this year’s Perks Champions Club event!
Have a great week and we appreciate the trust you’ve placed in our firm!
P.S. Don’t forget to listen to the latest episode of the My Retirement Clarity podcast where I discuss recent market volatility and how you should approach it.
